Alba von Vietinghoff
Hi, I’m Alba, a Berlin-based artist working primarily with analog photography. My practice focuses on authentic, unpolished moments and things that are fleeting, raw, and not staged. I often feel like I exist slightly outside of what feels “normal,” and photography became a way to build a bridge between my inner and outer world. Through the camera, I translate perception into something others can enter and relate to. I’m interested in closeness, immediacy and a kind of visual honesty that doesn’t rely on high gloss or overproduction. My images are intuitive and somewhere between observation, imagination, and emotional reality and I’m drawn to the fragile beauty of everyday moments and the way images can hold both clarity and ambiguity at once.
