Amarachi Udeh (b. 2001, Charlotte, NC) is a Nigerian American photographer and creative from Charlotte, North Carolina. She earned her B.S. in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies with a minor in Photography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her practice is rooted in research, cultural inheritance, and narrative, with a focus on the global Black experience and the role of storytelling in shaping identity. Udeh approaches image-making as a form of cultural dialogue. Drawing from archival imagery, historical research, and Black visual culture, she traces connections across the Black diaspora, revealing visual and emotional continuities between African traditions and their presence throughout the Americas.
