Annette Wilson
Annette Wilson is an Australian-Swedish photographer and visual storyteller based in Berlin. Working between documentary observation and poetic image-making, her practice explores the subtle intersections between people, place, and everyday ritual. Raised in Sydney within a culturally layered family with Swedish and Māori roots, she developed an early sensitivity to difference, identity, and human connection—threads that continue to inform her work today. Her photographs often focus on quiet, in-between moments where presence, atmosphere, and narrative gently converge. With a background in fine arts and cross-disciplinary creative studies, Wilson approaches photography as both observation and collaboration. Her work moves between editorial commissions and long-term personal projects, often exploring themes of belonging and movement.
