As a photographer based in Istanbul and a graduate of the Photography Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, my artistic practice focuses on exploring the relationship between people, cities, and spaces through the perspective of post-documentary photography, tangible cultural heritage, and ancient landscapes. My works examine concepts of belonging, non-belonging, and human connections with places through historical, sociological, and archaeological approaches. I use photography not merely as a tool for documenting reality, but as a way of tracing the remains of abandoned, forgotten, or transforming spaces and revealing hidden narratives. In my practice, I seek a balance between conceptual depth, historical context, and aesthetic expression. My urban and human-centered works adopt a critical and questioning visual language that explores the complex relationship between individuals and their environments.
