Shukri Zali
Shukri Zali is a documentary photographer and visual essayist whose authorial work explores human dignity, culture, minorities, memory, faith, mobility and belonging across Southeast Asia and Europe. Since 2004, he has been developing Humanity in Motion, an ongoing long-term visual project following how people move, gather, work, pray, remember and preserve dignity across changing social and geographic landscapes. His work combines documentary practice, humanist observation and visual essay, with recognition from PX3 Paris, IPA, BIFA, the Black & White Spider Awards, FotoDoc and Free Malaysia Today.
