Lara Zankoul
Lara Zankoul is a Lebanese fine art photographer and creative director whose work blurs the line between reality and imagination through meticulously crafted, cinematic imagery. Self-taught and internationally exhibited, she is known for building elaborate physical sets; including her signature human-sized water tanks; to create surreal visual narratives exploring identity, memory, femininity, and the human condition. Over the past decade, her photographs have been exhibited internationally and featured in publications including Vogue Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Vogue Portugal, and Numéro Netherlands. In 2025, she published her first monograph, Voyage, a retrospective of ten years of work tracing the evolution of her artistic practice. Her recent work reflects a shift toward more grounded narratives, drawing inspiration from personal experience, motherhood, and Lebanese culture.
