I am a doula and a visual artist. I document real parenthood, normalizing the human body free from gloss, retouching, and social filters. My work centers on honest matrescence, natural physiology, and genuine, involved fatherhood. Born in Russia and based in Sweden, my perspective is shaped by a profound cultural contrast. I deeply value the Swedish freedom from societal stigma, absolute partnership equality, and systemic support for parents. This foundation of empathy and respect for bodily boundaries is precisely what women, men, and the system itself critically lack in my home country. As a doula, I stand at the epicenter of a family’s transformation. My goal is not merely to capture images, but to dismantle taboos surrounding childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. Through my art, I channel this freedom to show parenthood exactly as it is: complex, vulnerable, sometimes chaotic, yet incredibly beautiful in its raw truth.
