Since 2019 I'm documenting and exploring the Italian alternative clubbing scene, focusing on its dark and queer subcultures and the most controversial, ambiguous, and authentic margins of a world that has always rejected compromise and lives by its own rules. Unwritten, rules, yet shared. I approach my subjects from the inside, documenting youth, capturing energy before the moment fades, conveying a sense of vitality, not staging, making participation and sharing central elements of my work. My images do not observe from a distance, but silently, stealthily, inhabit the space between me and the subject, where identity, performance, and presence overlap harmoniously. These are not stolen images, but shared fragments of lived experience, in which transgression becomes language.
