What norms, expectations and experiences shape men’s lives — and what role does masculinity play in our society?
In connection with Men’s Health Week, Fotografiska Stockholm and MÄN invite emerging photographers and visual artists to respond to the theme Are Men OK?
We are looking for visual works that explore, challenge or reflect on masculinity in Sweden today, whether through personal stories, documentary perspectives, staged images, intimate observations or broader social reflections.
The theme is open to interpretation. Submissions may address identity, belonging, loneliness, friendship, care, vulnerability, strength, community, tradition, change or other perspectives that expand the conversation around masculinity. We especially welcome voices and experiences that are rarely given space in wider public discussions.
