What I Learn from a Dead Swordfish? is a photographic series made in the waters of Yenikapı, Istanbul — above the submerged remains of the Byzantine Harbour of Theodosius. In collaboration with performance artist Agnes Questionmark, the work stages an intimate encounter with a two-meter-long dead swordfish, where the boundary between bodies, between human and non-human, begins to dissolve.
