Bathing in river Nistru during a summer night, Moldova. There are few places left to swim in Moldova and the remaining lakes and rivers are getting smaller and smaller. This was a rare and special moment when a group of friends went to swim at night. When I developed the film, I didn’t expect this light. It felt like a mistake at first, but it holds something true to the moment, almost unreal, a golden glow, as if the night itself was holding us.
