As a child, I loved drawing and exploring the world, inventing things along the way. I enjoyed making collages—not just from photos, but from branches, stones, wire, and broken objects—creating something new and imagining its purpose. I was fascinated by unusual perspectives. Today, I still seek unexpected angles, blending photography with new elements and meanings, so it feels like both a photo and a painting. It doesn’t always work, but I’m glad those childhood instincts returned.
