Taken from the back seat of a taxi outside Sealdah station, this photograph captures a brief moment of stillness inside one of Kolkata’s busiest crossings. Through the open window, the city appears framed and suspended: faces, movement, heat, noise, and the constant rhythm of people passing through. What interested me was the distance between the quiet interior of the taxi and the intensity of the street outside — two worlds sharing the same space, separated only by the frame of the car.
