Holding Home approaches home as a place that, after displacement, continues to exist within memory. Held in the hands is a photograph of a house — a fragile carrier of connection to the past, belonging, and a lost geography. The work reflects on how the experience of leaving changes the meaning of home: it is no longer only an address, but an inner image carried within. Memory holds not the place itself, but its trace — a fragment through which the past continues to shape identity and belonging in the present.
