If we take something whole, a scene, an object, a memory, and break it apart, what remains are fragments. Fragments that still carry traces of their former shape, yet no longer belong entirely to it. When recomposed, they do not return to completeness. Instead, they become something more open-ended, suspended somewhere between what once was and what is still becoming. And perhaps this incompletion is not a lack, but an invitation. Not something unfinished, but something left open for engagement.
