Portrait of a Aghori अघोर Sadhu Captured behind the The Manikarnika Ghat, “The Great Cremation Ground” in Varanasi India. The Aghori are a small group of vamacharic ascetic Shaiva sadhus. They engage in post-mortem rites. They often dwell in charnel grounds, smear cremation ashes on their bodies, and use bones from human corpses for crafting kapalas and jewelry.
