"StrongHer" is a photographic artwork that revolves around many important topics I resonate with as a woman and an artist. The concept of the image came after my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, making me realize the profound paradox of breasts: how they are powerful enough to nurture life, yet censored and sexualized by society, and ultimately scarred or lost to disease, and why they deserve to be celebrated every day. True to our creative philosophy, this image was created entirely without Photoshop or AI. Every element in the scene was built and staged by hand in a real-life set using simple props, colorful geometry, and natural light. We believe that visual wit is a powerful form of resilience, and this hand-crafted scene is our way of looking at our bodies with pride, wonder, and joy, aiming to empower and encourage other women out there.
