I wanted the model to stand in front of her portrait carrying the fruit to share a message of continuity, resilience, and the quiet dignity of carrying heavy burdens. Where she once nurtured life, she now holds a symbolic weight—yet her posture remains unshaken. Part of a larger series, this black-and-white frame strips away distraction to focus on lace textures, skin contrasts, and geometric balance. The watermelon becomes a silent manifesto on memory, protection, and time.
