Shukri Zali

During Ramâwan, Chăm Bani families in Vietnam return to ancestral graves to remember and renew their bond with the dead. The Chăm descend from the old Champa world of present-day central Vietnam, with roots going back to the first centuries CE. Across generations, this intangible cultural heritage preserves grief, lineage, dignity and belonging on ancestral ground.
