Shukri Zali

During Ramâwan, Chăm Bani families in Vietnam gather for home rituals after returning to ancestral graves. The Chăm descend from the old Champa world of present-day central Vietnam, with roots going back to the first centuries CE. Here, home becomes a sacred interior where offerings, smoke, memory and care sustain ties with the dead.
