Maria Panagopoulou

Captured at the Athens Tattoo Convention, this image portrays a body transformed into a living canvas through traditional Japanese Tebori carving tattoo art. Each mark carries stories, beliefs, and cultural memory passed through generations. Long before galleries and museums, humans used their bodies to preserve art and identity. This image reflects how art survives through time... not by remaining unchanged, but by evolving, being carried, and shaping the future.
