Every year, on 11 July, Potočari becomes a place of remembrance. I arrived to document the commemoration, but found myself drawn to its quietest moments. Rather than the public ceremony, I focused on gestures of mourning, silence, and presence. Through these images, this project reflects on memory as a living act, preserved not only by monuments, but by those who return each year to remember, bear witness, and refuse to forget.
