“La comunidad del Trabant” (The Trabant Community) is a series of portraits of Bulgarian Trabant collectors. The car was produced in the former East Germany during the Cold War. Doctor Zizi has a collection of thirty cars. He plans to turn his home into a museum to showcase the history of the car in Stargel, the village where he lives. He has competed in car shows, served as a judge, and is also the mechanic sought out by local collectors. Today, the Trabi is a cult object.
