“La comunidad del Trabant” (The Trabant Community) is a series of portraits of Bulgarian Trabant collectors. The car was produced in the former East Germany during the Cold War. Ina bought her Trabant in 2020. She restored it, painted it pink, and added eyelashes. She named it The Butterfly Fairy. She travels with it across Bulgaria and beyond. “Travelling in the Fairy is an incredible positive emotion. Sharing the ride with friends is an even greater emotion,” she says proudly.
