This project is my attempt to look at my father not only as the person I know today, but also as the person he was before I knew him. By placing old photographs alongside images of him today, I want to trace what happens to a person over the course of several decades. What remains unchanged, and what shifts with time and circumstance? How does a life lived become visible in a face, a body, a gesture, or a familiar habit?
