"the place that doesn’t exist" explores the possibility of belonging to a place that exists only in memory and imagination. I intuitively brought together fragments of photographs taken in places with no geographical connection: Almaty, Minsk, Baku, Kakheti, Perugia, Vitebsk, and the sea near Naples. Together they form an imaginary geography: places that do not exist on any map, yet feel strangely familiar and safe.
