Kanda Photo Studio was created to share the often – overlooked stories of the Zongo community- primarily Muslim migrants from Northern Ghana and The Sahel. At Kanda Photo Studio, I am documenting the community I live in and life as it unfolds. Each portrait is an act of resistance, a way to preserve stories of migration, identity, and belonging that are so often erased or misunderstood.
