Short Project Description (500 characters)

"Ordinary Urban Collapse" is a photographic essay on São Paulo, conceived entirely as diptychs whose paired images set up tension before any text. It counters the tropical postcard Europe and North America project onto Brazil, revealing an urban, industrial, contradictory metropolis instead. There's no Rio here. Its subject is a model of consumption and production — inequality, chaotic traffic, bodies, waste, degraded landscapes. Rather than indictment, the approach is to think.
