Short Project Description (500 characters)

Clínica Rojo documents a health center in Jayanca, a farming town in northern Peru, made while I volunteered with a medical team. Its subject is the wait: the long delays that Peru's fragmented, underfunded public health system forces on its patients. Shot in documentary style and saturated in red, the color of blood and urgency, the series follows crowded halls, a man in a wheelchair, mothers with newborns and children on the floor, revealing waiting as a constant emergency.
