Alyssa & Journey, Big Mama, October 2024 Big Mama is a project dedicated to young mothers under twenty four as they navigate motherhood in the midst of their youth, while also confronting society’s daunting perceptions of young motherhood especially within the Black community. The aim of Big Mama is to uplift young mothers and reshape society’s perspective, honoring them for their hard work, resilience, and the immense responsibility they take on at a young age.
