Shinrin-yoku, the quiet art of returning to presence. This practice invites us to move slowly—or to be still—within the forest, allowing the atmosphere to enter through every sense. Light shifting, the scent of resin, moss and soil, the subtle architecture of sound: each element becomes part of a gentle recalibration. For those of us in the city, the longing for the forest can become overwhelming—almost physical. Suddenly, I find myself loving art with natural motifs. I long for the forest.
