A C-section scar as a monument to healing. Here, I deconstruct the ideals of the classical nude, placing a real female body within the aesthetics of painting. Warm light, drapery, and a lily create a metaphor for fragility and strength. The blur is an in-camera effect created with a glass prism, free of retouching—a pure, unedited look at physical reality. Photography becomes a space for therapeutic acceptance of one's body.
