A part of my recent project: 'To Be King" To Be King explores what it means to belong in a country that claims your success yet still asks you to prove your existence. Born in London to mixed parents, I’ve spent my life as a child of nowhere: too Black for the white, too white for the Black. Ultimately I'm Black-British. An identity who until recently grew up without seeing ourselves represented in the records of the place we call home. But ultimately, I made it to inspire five year old me.
