Tamara Quadrelli

I have always been drawn to the spaces between things the gap between two walls, the pause before a door opens. This image belongs to my ongoing exploration of ordinary Italian architecture as a field of silent perception. Two tones of the same color, a curtain barely moving: beauty that doesn't announce itself, but waits to be noticed. I called this series "Silent Beauty" because that is what I keep finding grace in the unremarkable, hidden in plain sight.
