Bio

Sandra Madelane is a London-based fine art photographer whose work centers on nature and quiet reflection. Working with found materials—flowers, stones, leaves, and branches—she submerges still-life compositions underwater, using light, fluid forms, and color to capture themes of transformation, decay, and renewal. Her process starts from a personal place, using her own thoughts and challenges to explore broader ideas about life’s cycles. For Sandra, the act of making the image is just as important as the final shot. She lets the raw, imperfect shapes of her materials guide each arrangement, creating thoughtful pieces that invite viewers to slow down and notice the wonder in small things.
