Thomas Weidenhaupt

Thomas Weidenhaupt (*1983) is a self-taught photographer living and working near Aachen, Germany. His work is rooted in portrait photography with a strong focus on analogue processes, including 35mm, medium format and instant film. He has worked with musicians including Balbina, Mykki Blanco, Drab Majesty, Michael Stipe, Casey Spooner, Kim Gordon & TR/ST and his images have been featured in publications such as European Photography, Headmaster Magazine, Numéro Berlin, Kaput Magazin, Vogue.de, Kim Gordon: No Icon, Electronic Sound Magazine and ARTMAPP. He was nominated in the „Undiscovered Photographer of the Year“ category at the 2022 Abbey Road Music Photography Awards.
