Leni Smoragdova is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice engages transaction as an artistic medium. Leni is the founder of the Transaction Art Universe. Her practice looks closely at what our systems capture—and, more significantly, at what escapes them: glitches, failures, losses, distortions, and disappearances. Part of her practice is developed under the collective name {Transaction}, often in collaboration with anonymous participants. Authorship is intentionally left open and cannot always be clearly attributed.
