Wiktor Franko

Wiktor Franko is a photographer who has been working in both fine art and commercial photography for over a decade. He is the author of numerous publications and exhibitions. His work has appeared in Polish and international photography magazines. In 2018, Franko published his first photo book, Vol.1, featuring a retrospective selection of works from the previous ten years of his photography career. The book was published by the DIFA Foundation. He is currently working on his next publication. His photography ranges from classic black-and-white portraiture and lifestyle series to surreal, conceptual works. Passionate about traditional photographic techniques, he works with Polaroid film as well as a variety of analog cameras. The key elements of his photography are atmosphere, mood, surprise, humor, and authenticity. In his work, he often introduces an unexpected element that disrupts reality and transforms it into something more surreal.
