Inspired by Anton Corbijn, we invite photographers to submit a cover-worthy portrait of an artist or creative voice whose character shines through in a single frame.
For over five decades, Anton Corbijn has created iconic portraits of musicians and cultural figures. His photography is defined by his ability to cut through the noise and capture what truly matters. He uses the camera as a bridge to connect deeply with the people he photographs.
This Open Call invites photographers to respond to that approach. We are looking for portraits that go beyond appearance and reveal something honest and memorable about the subject. Create a cover-worthy portrait of an artist or creative voice you feel connected to. Capture their spirit and energy in a single image.
We welcome portraits that feel intimate, unexpected, iconic, raw, or quietly revealing. The setting does not matter. What matters is the subject's character and presence in a single image.
Submissions must be lens-based photography. AI-generated or prompt-based images are not eligible. Participants submit one image and a caption per submission and may participate up to three times in total.
