Marcin T. Jozefiak
Marcin T. Jozefiak is a Polish-British photographer, writer, and moving image artist based in Seoul. His practice explores identity, belonging, and visibility within societies shaped by rapid cultural change. Working across photography, film, and text, he examines how individuals construct and inhabit their identities under normative pressure, approaching portraiture as a relational and research-based process. Writing is central to his methodology, which is grounded in duration, trust, and ethical engagement. Alongside reflective texts, he incorporates participant letters and narrative fragments into moving image works, connecting personal experience to broader social contexts. His long-term project Fearless Flowers, developed over two years in Seoul with twenty-three participants, was recognised by Dazed as one of 2023’s most arresting photo projects worldwide.
