Diana Olesjuk

The idea for this shoot came from my model Leah. Due to the political situation in her homeland, she hadn’t seen her mother in years, and the absence only deepened her longing. Inspired by old photographs of her mother as a young woman, she chose the hairstyle and clothes to mirror those memories. We couldn’t return to the flat from the original photographs, so we found a museum space resembling a typical 1990s Minsk apartment.
