The Drought is a photographic series created using infrared technology, where foliage turns a radiant red and the natural world appears subtly destabilized. By placing my children within this transformed landscape, the work explores perception, vulnerability, and the fluid boundary between imagination and reality. In this context, the landscape is still unsettled in the aftermath of the 2018 drought—an event that continues to reverberate through both the environment and our perception of it.
