Annie Walter

Annie Walter (b. 2002, near Lübeck, Germany) is a visual artist focused on photography. Inspired by her father’s nature photography, she developed an early passion for the medium. At 16, she moved to Norwich, England, to study Photography, Film Studies, and Fine Art Textiles. Since 2023, she has been studying at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg. Her work combines set design, costumes, and props, often created by herself. She has collaborated with fashion students and contributed to international publications, and assisted photographers such as Ava Pivot. Her imagery explores contemporary themes like gender politics and climate change through a romantic, colorful, and playful aesthetic, aiming to transport viewers into immersive, dreamlike worlds.
