Diana Muminova (b. 1997, Shymkent, Kazakhstan) is a visual artist working across photography, collage, and mixed media. She returned to image-making in 2021 after completing a degree in public relations and advertising communications, initially working in commercial product photography. This led her to contemporary still life, which became the foundation of her artistic practice. Working with everyday objects, Diana Muminova creates and photographs still lifes before transforming the images through collage. Her practice explores memory and metamorphosis, examining how memories shift over time and how ordinary objects can hold personal stories. Through fragmentation, reassembly, and the physical manipulation of paper, she gives form to emotional experience and the changing nature of memory.
