Bio

Rea Schenk (* 1969, Berlin) lives and works in Berlin. After graduating with a degree in Energy and Supply Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur), she worked in the technical sector for many years and subsequently as a freelance designer and computer graphics artist. Since 2023, she has increasingly shifted her focus toward the artistic field. Her works combine photographic source material with digital interventions that are strongly influenced by her technical background. In her current work, she explores perception as an open-ended process, developing pictorial spaces that elude definitive classification. Her pieces have been exhibited in Berlin and London, among other locations, and are held in private collections.
